The most famous Adunis poems
I have given my days
I surrendered my days to an abyss
It goes up and down under my chariot
And I dug my graveyard in my eyes,
I conferred on it my sexuality, and yesterday I conferred my language on it
I cried for history defeated
Stumbling upon my lips
And I cried for the horror that was burned
Its green trees are in my lungs;
I am the Lord of Ghosts, wake them up
And drive it with my blood and my throat
The sun is a tomb that I cast
My hiatus and the wind are my hat.
Adunis poems, Songs
She lived in her face
It dwelt in the date tree
Her house is absent
In a flock of winds
And her days are dry fronds and sand.
Who would say to Zenab: My eyes are water
And I face a house of his grief
I now notice her sorrows
Like butterflies, they hit their lantern free, astonished
And I see her tear her handkerchief.
I now hint at mom:
Her face is a pit, her hands are a wilted rose.
This was a passage to her home
His bushes hid us
And we drew two lines at his intersection.
Here Marwan was gathering his companions …
Their charter died and they died
These thresholds have been erased.
They took him to a pit, burned him
He was not a murderer, he was a child
It was a voice
It ripples, rises with fire, rises to the steps of space
And it is, now, youth
Up in the air.
He left the convoy and its flutes and whims,
I attracted him to her perfume, a wilted rose.
You will remain, my friend,
Between what was, or what remained
Among this wreck,
Which sparkle that wears clouds, O Lord, do not sleep.
Love is Body
Love is flesh, and the night prepares its tastiest clothes.
There are beacons for the depths
They are only guided to the refuge.
Poplar tree is minaret
Is the muezzin the air?
The hardest and most hardest prisons
The one that has no walls.
My father was a peasant
He loved poetry and writes it,
He did not recite a poem except with a loaf of bread on its head.
The dream is a horse that takes us away without leaving its place.
A guide for traveling in the forests of meaning
What is unseen?
A house we like to see,
And we hate to live in it.
What is the secret?
If you open a closed door, it will be broken.
What is the dream?
Hungry never stops knocking on the door of reality.
What is certainty?
The decision does not need to know.
What is the kiss?
Visual picking
To an invisible fruit.
Flower of Chemistry
I must travel in the Garden of Ashes
Among its trees hidden in the ashes are legends, diamonds, and the golden urn.
I must travel in hunger, in ward, towards harvest
I have to travel, to rest
Under the arch of an orphan’s lips,
In an orphan lips in its wounded shadow is the flower of ancient alchemy.
Adunis poems, Voice
Mehyar is a face betrayed by his lover
Booming bells without ringing
Mihiar written on the faces
A song that visits us stealthily
In the paths of white banished,
Mehyar is a bell of the lost
In this Galilean land.
Magic forest:
Look
The birds came and the roll of stones joined the stones
Look
I wake up the streets and the night
We proceed with the procession of trees
The branches are green bags and the dream is prevalent
On vacation travels
Where the sacrifice remains a stranger and his face remains a seal on my secrets.
Look
A ray led me, and a voice called me from the end of the walls.
Adunis poems, Qais
Qais used to say: I overflowed with Laila
And I clothed the human beings
I saw him cover his cheeks with fire
Qais raises its forests and prolongs the brown.
And I saw him pick the moon
A bunch of sleepless nights.
Traveler language
Yesterday under the quarries I traveled under the dust
I heard our echo
And I heard the boundaries collapse
I returned, and it was said that I forgot there, in amazement, my steps
My steps, as if I see them free, moving between the arteries between the lungs and circulating around and leading
Astonished or confused
In the folds of the lips in the skin
In an abyss that you cannot see
As if I see her
After this, you go back.
You will not glimpse, my steps
Between us is a language of distance, we understand its terms.
If the sea is getting old
If the sea gets old
To choose Beirut as a memory for him.
every moment
Ash proves to be the palace of the future.
Travel,
He gets out of his steps
And enter into his dreams.
The more wisdom refines him
The experience exposed him.
Draws maps
But she tears it up.
It closed his door not to restrict his joys, but to release his sorrows,
His ashes surprise the fire and his fire surprised time.
The past is a lake
Swimmer One: Anniversary.
The sea has no time to talk to sand.
Always busy composing waves.
Despair is a habit, hope is an innovation.
Joy has wings and has nobody,
Sadness has a body and has no wings.
The dream is the only innocent person who can only live as a fugitive.
The thought always comes back
Hair always travels.
The secret is the most beautiful house
But it is not suitable for housing.
The tongue rusts from too much speech,
The eyes rust from lack of dream.
Nothing but madness:
I now see it on my window
Watching amongst the watchful stones
Like a child the witch taught him that there is a woman in the sea
She bore his history in a seal
And he will come when the fire of the hearth subsides and the night of his grief melts into the ashes of the hearth.
I saw history walking like a forest in a black banner.
I was not dated alive in nostalgia in the fire of the revolution.
My homeland is this spark, and my country is this lightning in the darkness of time.
Adunis poems, Watercolor
Your color is the color of water
O body of the speech
When the water is yeast, stun or fire
And the water ignited and became a thunderbolt and became yeast and fire,
Ask about my pillow
sleeping…
O stream of speech
Travel with me two days, two Fridays in the Feast of Secrets
We catch seas or explore oysters
We rain rubies and ebony
We know that magic is a black fairy who refuses to love anything other than the sea.
Travel with me and show up here … and out here …
Ask with me, O river, to speak about a seashell that dies to become
A red cloud
Is raining,
On an island
Walk or fly,
Ask with me, O stream of words
From the captive star
Between the windows of water
Under her breast
My last days.
Ask with me, O River of Speech
From a stone from which water springs forth
About a wave from which the rock is born
On the musk animal, on the turtle of light
Go down with me in the nets of the Digger
At the bottom.
Where the time is broken
Let the words be
Poem on the sea.
